Holistic Therapy engages and develops the whole person. We like to think of this as including the following different levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. This concept sees the human being as multi-dimensional, and follows the belief that all dimensions require nurturing.
HOT STONE MASSAGE
Hot stone massage is a deep and profoundly beneficial massage therapy that relaxes the body to its deepest level. Warm stones are placed on the body at key points, allowing the heat to penetrate deep into the muscle tissue. The warm stones are also used as a tool during the treatment, easing away tension and allowing the therapist to manipulate tight muscles more effectively.
This entire treatment is carried out with the client lying face up on warm water-filled cushions, assisting in perfect spinal alignment. Hydrotherm massage is a unique, three dimensional massage experience, the water supports the body and the warmth from the water gently melts away tension before the massage has even started. Anybody can benefit from this massage, but it is particularly beneficial for those who cannot lie face down or find it comfortable to turn.
Aromatherapy is the practice of using pure essential oils to promote physical and psychological well-being. It is often combined with massage and other therapeutic techniques as part of a holistic treatment approach.
Swedish Massage is one of the most popular and well known massage styles in the West. One of the main priorities for this particular massage is to stimulate circulation, which is why the movements are generally performed towards the heart. This style of massage tends to be fast paced and is deeper than aromatherapy massage, which has a wonderfully invigorating effect on the body.
INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
Indian Head Massage is an ancient Indian healing massage, which focuses on draining the tension stored in the head and shoulders. It involves acupressure techniques that manipulate the soft tissues on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face. Although the massage focuses on the head and shoulders it, has benefits for the whole body, giving a total feeling of well-being.
HOPI EAR CANDLING
Ear candling is a form of alternative therapy which gently and effectively draws out ear wax from the ear canal. Alongside the obvious benefits of this treatment, there are some additional, surprising benefits to enjoy. These include deep relaxation, and calming of the mind and body.
