Hatha yoga combines physical exercise with mental discipline and also invigorates body and mind.
Hazel's sessions offer beginners and improvers the opportunity to increase strength and stamina by doing a series of poses (asanas), accompanied by controlled breathing in a fun atmosphere. Hazel encourages the correct principles of alignment which make it safe for most people to participate.
Hatha yoga provides many health benefits: reducing stress, improving balance and flexibility, reducing heart rate and blood pressure. Increased strength can help reduce injury in your daily life.

At Cowan House, Yoga classes are kept small for a private, professional feel. This allows participants to get the most out of their sessions, with individual attention and instruction.
To ensure your place in Hazel's class, you must book in advance as classes hold a maximum of 9 people and spaces fill up quickly. It is also essential that you wear loose clothing to ensure a comfortable session.
