THE TREATMENT

You’ll have an initial 45 minute appointment, unless there are multiple issues in which case you’ll have an hour. During this time we will go through a detailed history of your problem, enabling us to perform an effective physical examination which will lead to an accurate diagnosis.

The physical examination will include an assessment of your joint range of motion, muscle power and functional testing – including a special test to aid differential diagnosis allowing us to rule out all other possible causes to your symptoms.

A treatment plan will then be formulated along with a home management program to initiate your recovery. Follow up treatment sessions will last around 30 minutes. We are confident that we can treat most conditions, with significant results within 3-6 treatments. If after this time you do not have a measurable improvement then we might want to refer you back to your G.P or to a specialist for further investigation.
