INTERGRATIVE COUNSELLING
Karen offers integrative counselling; this is inclusive of a variety of counselling approaches. Being integrative allows flexibility in responding to the needs of clients and a flexibility of thought about the issues that are discussed in counselling. The integrative approach may include elements of person-centred therapy. This focuses on you rather than the counsellor being the expert on yourself and aims to help you reach your full potential. Karen will help you achieve that by accepting and valuing you, being honest and transparent with you and offering you unconditional positive regard.

BEREAVEMENT COUNSELLING
“You’ll go through a journey of self-discovery and increased self-awareness. First, it’s about awareness, then acceptance and then change. It will help you to make healthier and better choices for yourself." - Karen Low. Karen offers a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for those that have been bereaved and or have experienced a loss. It is a space of hope for peace, on the road to healing from your loss. Karen will support you to find a place of recovery and healing. The sessions are designed to help you journey through your grief, loss, or significant life change. To find a way to cope with everyday situations in the post loss world around you.
Every one’s grief is different. There is no specific right way to grieve and move forward. Bereavement support will help you develop coping mechanisms and provides a professional to talk to, as emotions can be difficult, strong and at times overwhelming. During the session with resources and support you begin to find a place of recovery in your life. This is a process that does not happen overnight, it may take weeks, months, years, or a lifetime.
