Hypnotherapy allows the conscious and subconscious mind to ‘talk’ to each other. It uses guided relaxation and focused attention to achieve a heightened awareness, which is called trance. Trance is natural, safe and very ordinary in many ways. You will have already experienced trance in your daily life, you will know it as day dreaming, its the moment your mind wanders off when reading a book or watching television. It feels like ‘switching off’ from the outside world. Hypnotherapy uses trance in a positive way, allowing your imagination to reinforce positive solutions that you have created.
HOW CAN HYPNOTHERAPY HELP?
Often, we don’t see the pressures of life building on us mentally or physically until it starts impacting on our daily lives. As a result, we can start to suffer from stress, anxiety, panic attacks, irrational fears and phobias, depression and much more before we start to take notice. Hypnotherapy helps you feel better by looking past how you feel and even why you feel the way you do. It will help you see what is good in the ‘here and now’ and how you build on that into your future. Also it helps with common conditions such as: Fears and phobias, IBS, Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Weight Management , Confidence, Motivation, Childbirth.
*It is important to consult your GP before approaching a hypnotherapist if you suffer from clinical depression, including psychosis and also epilepsy and schizophrenia.

initial consultation £35 : This first session looks at how, together we can help you move forward and get you living the life you want. I will also give you a relaxation CD/MP3. Hypnotherapy session (60 minutes) £70 Smoking cessation (60-120 minutes) £120 Number of sessions will depend on your needs.
